Economics

Economics is a social science that focuses on effective management of limited resources in order to optimize the welfare of individuals, companies, and countries. Nuh Naci Yazgan University Economics program provides students with a strong theoretical foundation and accordingly equips students with the skills and abilities to analyze and interpret micro and macro level economic relationships and to solve problems. Our program is designed by our expert academicians and is informed by the most recent developments in economics education. We have adopted a flexible and student-centered pedagogical approach. Moreover, to assist our students in their academic and social development, we provide them advising, guidance and counselling services. 

Economics graduates have a wide range of job opportunities. Our graduates are employed in various departments in private companies, public and private banks, public corporations and institutions, the Central Bank, the Treasury, the Secretariat of Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Revenue Administration, the Capital Markets Board of Turkey, and Istanbul Stock Exchange. They can also serve as an administrative law judge. Moreover, our graduates who want to seek a postgraduate degree can work as academic staff.
